SUPPORT GROUPS & WORKSHOPS

As of August 14, 2025, SARC no longer provides licensed counseling or therapeutic groups services. Call (503) 626-9100, option 4, or email Advocacy@sarcoregon.org for help connecting to ongoing licensed counseling.
At SARC, we believe healing is something that no one should have to face alone. Survivors often find strength and comfort in connecting with others who have shared similar experiences. That is why SARC is committed to building peer support groups and skill building workshops where survivors can come together in safe, supportive, and empowering spaces.
Our groups and workshops are designed to:
These groups will be peer-led, meaning they are guided by people who share lived experiences of survivorship. We believe this approach creates deeper connection, validation, and trust. Our workshops will also explore creative and practical ways of healing, such as art, movement, and storytelling.
SARC is not currently offering groups at full scale, but we are preparing to launch peer-led groups and workshops in 2026. We are committed to building these offerings in a way that is sustainable, inclusive, and responsive to the needs of survivors and the community.
If you need support now, our 24-Hour Support & Resource Line is always available by call, text, or chat. Our confidential advocates can provide emotional support, information, and referrals to community partners who offer counseling and groups.
Also, the Sexual Assault Support Services (SASS) of Lane County, offers multiple support groups via Zoom and the participant is not required to live in Eugene or Lane County. Check SASS’s website for further information and updates.
