The Sexual Assault Resource Center is a non-profit organization that relies on community contributions to fund our vital work. Much of our work is funded by federal, state, county, and city grants, but we rely extensively on donations from individuals and local businesses as well to sustain and improve our programs.

Please include your name, phone number, and email address with your donation so that we may send you an acknowledgement and a tax receipt. You can also set up a bill pay online through your bank to be sent to the above address.

CLOTHING

SARC stocks all Washington County hospitals with clothing people can wear home when their clothing may be given to law enforcement as evidence. We look for new or lightly used gender-inclusive and size-inclusive items including: sports bras, underwear, sweat pants, leggings, t-shirts, sweatshirts, socks, flip flops, etc.

HYGIENE PRODUCTS

SARC provides emergency hygiene items such as unopened full or travel sized deodorant, shampoo and conditioner, soap/body wash, tampons, pads, etc.

GIFT CARDS

Gift cards to stores like Target, Safeway, and Fred Meyer allow SARC staff to purchase clothing, hygiene products, transport, food, prescriptions and more for people in need.

PRE-PAID CELL PHONES AND PHONE CARDS

Many people we work with do not have their own phones, or need funds to pay their cell phone bills, in order to be reachable for follow up services such as counseling and medical appointments.

ARTS & CRAFTS

SARC uses art therapy techniques and grounding materials during group therapy and trainings. If you are an artist or love crafts, SARC has projects for you! Get in touch with volunteer[at]sarcoregon.org for more information

ABOUT SARC

For over 40 years, SARC’s dedicated staff and volunteers have been providing crisis intervention and ongoing support services to folks who have been impacted by sexual violence. Crisis intervention, including over the phone support and in-person response, is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Our operations are funded through government grants and generous donations from private foundations, companies, and individual donors, so that we may always offer our services to clients at no charge.
