• CASE MANAGEMENT

SARC’s case management services exist to provide ongoing support to people who have been impacted by sexual violence. They are designed to address the variable ways that somebody’s life may be negatively affected following sexual assault. Case management services include emotional support, support through the criminal and civil processes, information, referrals to community resources and connection to agency resources.

Case managers can provide information and referrals for medical, legal, mental health, housing, substance use, culturally specific services, child-related resources and more. They can provide liaising with law enforcement, accompaniment during law enforcement interviews, court accompaniment, case status updates, information regarding the criminal justice system process etc. Case managers can give information and support for protective orders, lease breaks, address confidentiality, crime victim’s compensation, sexual assault victim’s emergency (SAVE) fund access and more.
